Typhoon Ketsana (ONDOY) Devastates Metro Manila 9/30/09

Carmel Events is one with the Filipino People in mourning the losses suffered from the recent Super Typhoon which brought with it a record setting rainfall. The Typhoon brought about  Flash Floods in many areas of the Greater Manila Area submerging entire cities with up to 10 feet of muddy water; destroying lives, livelyhood and homes. With hundreds dead and thousands displaced, many of the affected have lost most if not all of their possessions and their homes are left in inches of thick mud. Most of the affected areas are also without power and potable water. Aid agencies and NGO's are overwhelmed with the amount of aid needed to support all the victims. Celebrities and private individuals are also aiding in the relief operations.
